Photography has always been a love of mine since I received my first camera for a Christmas gift at age 16. In the early years the camera was used to make memories with candid shots of family and friends, but later it became a tool to record my travels and love of nature. Now in my late seventies, it is a passion that gives meaning to my life and a way to share that passion. Traveling with husband, Tommy, we love making images of the beautiful country here in the north Georgia mountains and the neighboring states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Macro shots of flowers have always been a love of mine. Seeing the heart of the flower is always a joy. You never know what interesting little creature you might find there.
Note: When you purchase one of my prints, the watermark, "Fine Art America" will not appear on the print.
My work is currently on display at Rivers Rim Studio in Brasstown, NC., and I am a member of Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Assn, Southern Appalachian Artist Guild, and Blue Ridge Mountain Photographers.
